Today’s blog is all about the sweetest extended family session in downtown McKinney. Kailee reached out to us to schedule a session for her mom as a birthday gift. Her brother and his family were coming into town and she wanted to get family portraits all together while they were all there. We were so excited for this sweet McKinney family session and we got so many fun shots with this family!

We had a morning session on the square because it was the best time for the 2 kids! Kailee’s mom was SO excited for this session because she was getting updated family pictures with everyone. What mom wouldn’t be thrilled by this? We met in front of a local restaurant and started on the corner of that spot. The white wall was perfect for the whole family, we moved along the main street towards an alley with a fun painted wall and ended there. 

The kids had such a fun time. Their baby girl was so smiley and happy the whole time. Their toddler was a little tricky but we worked with him and got some really sweet shots! We got quite a few shots of the whole family together, shots of each family individually, the grandkids grandparents, aunts and uncles and alone.

There are so many incredible shots from this session and did we mention that we LOVE Downtown McKinney? We don’t get the opportunity to shoot there often but we really love it!
