The Beddow’s were expecting their first baby into their sweet family and they wanted to celebrate by letting us capture their photos! They chose Lemon Drop Studio as their session location because it’s so hot in the summer in Texas. We were so excited they wanted their McKinney maternity session at Lemon Drop Studio because there’s so much you can do there! We had such a great time with this sweet couple and their puppy!

This sweet couple was so much fun to capture! They brought along their adorable puppy Barney and he did GREAT! The couple brought a couple different outfits (which worked well since we had a whole hour of time in the studio) and they were ALL on point! Every outfit was perfect for summertime and they both looked so good together!

The couple’s only request was that they wanted some sweet candid photos from this session. We got the chance to take quite a few pictures with Barney and some of just Barney with the little baby shoes they brought along. We got some adorable shots of the couple together. The prompt we like to use a lot with couples is “look at each other” or “touch your foreheads together.” That gives couples time to focus on one another and we always get the sweetest photos!

The one thing Bonnie wanted to mention about this stunning maternity session is that dad-to-be was SO sweet and always complimenting mom-to-be. It was so fun to watch her light up as she was hearing the compliments!
