As a Frisco family photographer, we were thrilled to meet the McGraw family! Wisp + Willow had the opportunity of capturing this sweet family of four during the spring. Julie reached out wanting updated family photos and we were happy to help! The McGraw’s were so sweet and our associate had a blast capturing them! This Frisco Commons family portrait session was definitely one for the books!

The McGraw family came prepared for their family portrait session. We send out a client experience guide with tips to prepare for your session with us. One of the pages in that is full of tips for clothing. The main thing we try to push is that we don’t want everyone wearing the same clothing. We love coordination, not matching. The McGraws did EXACTLY that. The way one of the daughters dresses coordinates mom’s and sister’s dresses is SO pleasing to the eye. They rose to the challenge for sure.

As always with family sessions, we started out with the whole family. Don’t get me wrong, we love little kids, but it sure is a breath of fresh air when we get a family with older kids. They do such a great job when we give direction and things run so smoothly! Once we finished up with the whole family, we did our usual poses of mom with the kids and dad with the kids. These girls LOVED their mom and dad. You can tell by the genuine smiles on their faces. They truly enjoyed the time they got to spend with them during this session.

We enjoy getting photos of each kid individually. This gives them an opportunity to show their own personalities through posing and facial expressions. These girls were a blast, too. They did an incredible job. They didn’t need much direction from their photographer. They knew just what to do and they did an amazing job.
