This session was a tough one, but Christian, our Chattanooga maternity photographer, and this sweet couple had so much fun together, even in the rain! You know how weather forecasts can be sometimes; they promise sunshine, and then boom, rain clouds roll in. But here’s the plot twist – instead of rescheduling their session, Kat and Marty decided to roll with the raindrops. Their due date for their sweet baby was VERY soon, so we went for it! We love clients like these who aren’t afraid to embrace a little spontaneity. So, under the gray skies and a light drizzle, we sought refuge beneath a massive bridge. Little did we know, this bridge had a special significance—it marked the boundary between Coolidge Park and Renaissance Park.

Now, let’s talk about the heart of the session—Kat and Marty. Kat’s vibrant red hair was the perfect contrast against her deep green dress, making her look like a real-life forest fairy. Marty didn’t shy away from our quirky prompts and creative ideas. They chatted about baby names, sharing laughs and stories while the raindrops fell around us.

This session was about capturing raw and genuine emotions. Those unscripted moments when Kat and Marty exchanged loving glances, shared smiles, and, yes, even danced in the rain—those are the moments we treasure most. It was a true testament to their love, excitement, and the beautiful journey they’re about to embark on.
