When we added some associates to our team from the Savannah, GA area, we were itching to do a beach session! We’ve seen so many stunning beach sessions, and Driftwood Beach is SO pretty! There’s old trees all along the beach and it’s just so magical! The Gerdes family did so great and we are so in love with this sweet mommy and me Driftwood Beach session!

Erocha wanted to have a family session with her and her 3 children. Kelsey started out getting photos of everyone before the standing still and smiling got old. She also wanted to make sure to capture Erocha with each of her children individually. Capturing some special moments of natural interaction and play.

The middle boy, Kaisei, was very interested in looking for crabs. And the other eldest boy, Ryuku, was having fun climbing on the tree. Little Ayumi mostly stuck with mom and pretty much refused to smile the whole time no matter what Kelsey or Erocha tried to do to get her to laugh. Erocha said this was typical of her, and honestly it was kind of funny how hard she was trying NOT to smile. 

Throughout the session Erocha kept apologizing for the boys running around. But Kelset told her they were doing just fine and thought they were actually being very well behaved. Once Erocha received her sneak peeks, she sent Kelsey a text and let her know she was so thankful for her. She absolutely LOVED her images.
