We have a secret! We’ve fallen IN LOVE with Jacksonville, FL! We recently added an associate to our team in January 2024 from Jacksonville and we’ve been swooning over sessions from this city ever since! There’s beaches, there’s spanish moss trees, there’s so many fun places for family portraits and we’re here to share our first Jacksonville family session today! Meet the Wald family! Mom, Dad and their 3 sweet boys met our friend Kristina at Alpine Groves Park in Jacksonville for the sweetest family portrait session and to celebrate their youngest turning 1! There is nothing sweeter than spending a little time under some Spanish moss tree capturing memories your family will treasure forever!

The youngest Wald boy was very unsure of the camera. It took him a little while to warm up but once he got used to Kristina being around with her camera, he did GREAT! We got some sweet shots of the family of 5 all together, mom and dad with the kids, just the kids and each kid by themselves!

Our favorite part of this sweet session was capturing the youngest with his smash cake and newborn picture. We’d never seen this before and the idea is SO sweet! He was very unsure of the smash cake and once he got his hands in it, he didn’t enjoy it, but we got some really sweet shots!
