As we’re getting ready for our Christmas mini-sessions, we wanted to share how to design your album in Pic-Time! Albums are a great way to keep your images somewhere other than your phone or social media! It’s such an easy way to keep your images from past sessions AND share them with family members and friends! Here’s a few steps on how to design your album in Pic-Time!
The first thing I want to mention before we get into how to design your album in Pic-Time is there are SO many album and photobook options for you to choose from! There are fine art albums, layflat albums, magazines, hardcover photo books, and what’s called a folio! SO many options. Most of these, you’ll create the same exact way, so I’m going to show you how to create a layflat album!
Here’s a quick video tutorial:
Once you login to your gallery, you’ll scroll until you see the navigation bar! You’ll click “SHOP” and scroll until you find which album you’d like to personalize! Once you’ve chosen the album you’d like to personalize, Pic-Time will give you a pop-up that says it will design a quick album based on your favorite photos in the gallery. You can either choose to do that OR you can create your own from the start.
Once your album loads, you’ll be able to choose your size, customize your cover and start customizing pages! To customize the cover or any pages you’d like, you’ll just click “Edit” on the page you’d like to customize! You can crop images, switch out images or change the layout of the images on the page. You can also add or remove any images you’d like to the page you’re editing as well! If there are pages you love but don’t enjoy the order, there’s a little cross above every page that you can click and drag the page to anywhere you want in the album!
You can add pages anywhere you’d like! The only thing that I’ll mention is that the minimum size for any album is 10 pages (20 spreads) so you can’t delete any pages unless you’ve added some.
Once you’re finished customizing your album, you can add it to your cart, add in your shipping information and checkout! It’s THAT easy!
Pic-time has so many incredible print options other than albums as well! We’d love to help you find what you’re looking for. If you can’t find it in your gallery, shoot us an email and we’ll help you out!
