Maternity sessions are SO special! We know it can be a crazy time all while getting ready for your sweet new baby to arrive! WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY MATERNITY SESSION?

We try to book maternity sessions between 32 and 36 weeks. Sooner if you’re expecting multiples. We want to be sure we have enough time to get your photos in before you have your new addition! We also want to make sure you’re not miserable during the session!

WHAT DO YOU WANT TO WEAR?

Maternity photos are some you’ll look at the rest of your life. We want to make sure you LOVE what you’re wearing when you look back on your photos later on! This means that choosing your dress/outfit will also include making sure your spouse or partner wears clothing that compliments what you chose! We get asked this question all the time! “I’m wearing a _____ dress. What should my spouse wear?” It’s such a tough decision but we’re always here to help if you have questions!

PROPS

We love when clients bring things to their maternity sessions! We’ve seen baby shoes, sonogram photos and little onesies! We’ve even seen a stuffed animal before! Props are so much fun! It’s so special when you look back at maternity photos where you were holding the empty onesie and you remember your sweet baby wearing the same onesie you were excited to put them in! There’s nothing like creating memories before baby even arrives! We encourage props and we LOVE them!
