Dallas photographer here! Wildflowers are another stunning Texas staple. Cities all around the DFW Metroplex plant wildflowers for citizens to enjoy and we have one close by! This field in Richardson is HUGE, first of all. When I was there last year, there were at least 10 photographers out there. This wildflower mommy and me session was so sweet and I’m so excited to share it with you!

Full disclosure, sometimes as a mom, we just cannot find a babysitter. I let this client know I couldn’t find one (my original one canceled) and she was okay with my daughter coming along to the session. Mind you, she was not even 18 months at the time, so it was definitely tricky. This little girl was SO excited to play with my daughter. It worked out for the best to be honest! We got the most genuine smiles from this sweet girl because my daughter was making silly faces at them.

Other than having to keep eyes on my daughter the whole time, this session was so much fun. This little cutie was SO good. She took direction well and her mom let me know she had been practicing her poses beforehand. We even got some stunning photos of mom while we gave her a break. It was all around a beautiful day and we had so much fun!

This sweet mommy and me duo was so much fun to capture. They were so excited about their session together in the stunning wildflowers. They followed our style guide to a t! Mom was wearing a white maxi dress and her sweet girl was wearing a striped blue and white maxi dress. Both were perfect for their session! As a Dallas photographer, we love seeing people follow our style guide!
