Plano family photographer here! Meet the Jankord family! They booked a session with us WAY back in April. After a couple of rained out sessions, we FINALLY got to serve them in the summer. Let me tell you, this session did NOT disappoint. They even brought their sweet dog to the session! I can’t wait to share this session Arbor Hills Nature Preserve session with you!

We don’t typically choose this location to shoot at. First of all, its HUGE. Lots of hiking and biking trails along with some overlooks of the preserve. All that to say, it’s normally packed. Our associate had shot there before so she mentioned it to the clients and they loved the idea! There’s a little spot right inside the preserve that has a beautiful walkway with trees and stones that they chose for their session. It was incredible. The grass and trees looked amazing and complimented the family so well.

Summer colors are so much fun! Mom wore a peach colored dress, dad wore blue and their daughter wore a beautiful pastel yellow. We started with the whole family, just the girl, and went on from there. You can see our posing workflow from our friend Rebecca HERE!

Our favorite part of this session was how much fun the family dog made it. Everyone had so much fun with the dog. It was so sweet and you could really tell that the Jankord’s daughter only had eyes for the dog. It was adorable. We had SO much fun to say the least and we are SO thankful that the Jankord’s allowed us to serve them!
