Meet sweet Lorelai. We had the honor of capturing her as she celebrated turning 1 with a delicious smash cake. This first birthday session was so much fun. Lorelai LOVED her smash cake and you can absolutely tell in these photos! We love that we get to be McKinney milestone photographer and it’s such a special thing to capture!

McKinney Photographer | Lorelai’s Smash Cake | Adriatica Village

This Adriatica Village session was a blast. Lorelai’s parents were so prepared for this session! Lorelai was dressed in a white gown. They brought along a white teepee and gorgeous flowers to go on top along with a blanket for Lorelai to sit on. We stared in a field of grass with this set up and it was perfect!

Baby girl DUG into that cake and she loved it! Is there anything cuter than a baby with a smash cake and icing all over? I don’t think so. While she was eating that cake, we got a chance to get some shots of the details of the cutest teepee and flower combination. The pink flowers on the white teepee was an amazing combination!

Once Lorelai was about halfway done, we moved her into a beautiful white vintage high chair by the reservoir. It was decorated with beautiful pink flowers and was the perfect way to finish off our session! (Did I mention that we LOVE when parents bring props?) It was such a beautiful day and a wonderful way to celebrate Lorelai turning a year old!
